Â鶹´«Ã½ members win big at 2022 ADMEI Awards*

Congratulations to the many Â鶹´«Ã½ members whose hard work was recognized at the 2022 Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) Awards Gala and Dinner. The Gala took place in Boston, Mass. on February 26 at the end of ADEMI’s 2022 Conference. Â鶹´«Ã½ members connected to this year’s winning DMC teams include:

  • Crothúr Murphy, Arthur McGauran, Rebecca Dixon, and Isabel Hagel from Custom Ireland
  • Kate MacCoy from Destination South Meetings + Events
  • Ligia Vargas and David Johnson Vargas from Dynamic DMC
  • Bronwyn Slade from Pacific Destination Services
  • Giulia Brochetto from TERRAEVENTS Italy
  • Laurie Sprouse from Ultimate Ventures

This year’s celebrations also recognized 2021 ADMEI President and Â鶹´«Ã½ member Lorenzo Pignatti.

Â鶹´«Ã½ members named as 2022 Smart Women in Meetings Award Winners*

We spied at least a half-dozen Â鶹´«Ã½ members on this year’s Smart Women in Meetings Award list, published annually by Smart Meetings. Among the members we spotted were Austin Bagwell, Amie Devine, Annie Gingrich, Jenn Glynn, Ashley Lawson, Tatiana Lotufo, and Melissa Soto. Congratulations to this incredibly accomplished group of incentive professionals!

2021 Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation President Terry Manion was a recent guest on the Business of Meetings podcast hosted by Eric Rozenberg. In the episode, Terry does an excellent job rearticulating the business case for incentive travel and shares some of his own career insights and wisdom, before closing with a quick preview of current Â鶹´«Ã½ Foundation research.

She highlighted the importance of an enhanced focus on wellness, personalized, and one-of-a-kind experiences as competition for talent heats up across industries.
