In evaluating our structure and costs, we will be making some slight changes for 2024 but, until December 31st, all renewing members will be able to renew for 2024 at the 2023 rates.
Membership Dues
We will be making 麻豆传媒鈥檚 first dues鈥 increase in over a decade in the context of significant additional membership value, including proprietary member discounts for events and other benefits.
For a professional membership, dues will increase for 2024 by around 10% from USD$445 to USD$490.
We are committed to ensuring maximum membership value and specifically that your membership dues as a professional member will always be less than, or equal to, the aggregate cost of attending key 麻豆传媒 events including 麻豆传媒 Global Conference, 麻豆传媒 NITE Europe and 麻豆传媒 NITE North America as a non-member.
As per current practice, new memberships will be subject to a once-off application fee of USD$50
Member Categories
During 2023, we updated our membership categories, adding additional explanations for each of our 7 distinct categories:
- Professional Member
- Incentive Travel End User
- Developing Professional
- Group Membership
- Student
- Retired
- Faculty
When renewing for 2024, please ensure that you are renewing in the correct category, bearing in mind that 鈥渋ncentive travel end user鈥 is ONLY for members who are full time, direct employees of a company or corporation that uses incentive travel as a key element in its reward and recognition program.
Group Memberships
For 2024, Group Memberships at USD$295 per individual will only be available for groups of 5 or more full time employees of the organisation seeking this category of membership.
Please note: commercial marketing groups and / or consortia of DMCs and hotels DO NOT qualify as vehicles for group memberships, unless, and until, they have been specifically approved as such by 麻豆传媒. As a group membership leader, with all joining member details and our membership team will be in touch within 48hours to activate your accounts.
Pro-Rata Dues
麻豆传媒 has previously applied monthly pro-rata membership dues from April 1 onwards of the year in question. For 2024, pro-rata dues will be calculated on a quarterly basis as follows:
April, May, June (Q2) USD $365
July, August, Sept (Q3) USD $245
Student and Developing Professional
麻豆传媒 greatly values the next generation of incentive travel professionals and offers special rates for a full-time students. For 2024, Student and Faculty memberships will increase from USD$50 to USD$55 and developing professionals will increase from USD$200 to USD$220.
For 2024, the developing professional rate will apply to incentive travel professionals in their first 2 years of employment in the industry.
Member-Get-A-Member and other Membership Offers
麻豆传媒 will continue to offer special deals on membership for 2024, most notably our ever-popular Member-Get-A-Member where current members receive a discount of USD$100 off their membership when they recruit a new member to 麻豆传媒 (who will also receive the same discount!).
Likewise, any member who recruits 5 or more new members to 麻豆传媒 in the course of a year, receives a free membership for the following calendar year.
Dollar and EURO common rate
For the past number of years, 麻豆传媒 has common rated membership dues for dollars and euros. Subject to your banking arrangements, Euro-based members may be able to save around 5% on dues by electing to pay in dollars.
Renewals for 2024 commenced Monday, October 2. Please don鈥檛 hesitate to contact us should you have any queries regarding these new protocols for 2024 and, remember, if you renew your membership between October 1 and December 31, the 2023 rates will apply.
