Some of the brightest up-and-coming industry talents got an early start to the week with two action-packed days at the �鶹��ý Young Leaders’ Conference, held November 7-8 at UNLV and Caesar’s Forum. Attendees engaged with one another through breakout and think tank sessions, met with �鶹��ý and �鶹��ý Foundation board members, and even gave back to the local community by working in teams to decorate and gift skateboards to a Boys and Girls Club.

The energy was electric at �鶹��ý NITE 2021! A truly global group gathered at Resorts World, eager for a fantastic night of reconnecting with old friends and making new ones, too. Special surprises like a splash mob and GIF-friendly photo booth made for a memorable evening (anyone else still finding the odd bit of confetti in their suitcase, though?).

IMEX attendees enjoyed two �鶹��ý-led expert panels during this year’s show. On Smart Monday, 2021 �鶹��ý Foundation President Terry Manion led a panel discussion on what the current incentive travel data is telling us. Insights continued flowing on Tuesday, with several international experts joining 2021 �鶹��ý President Aoife Delaney during a morning education session to discuss how the industry is recovering around the world.

What a great mid-week morning boost! This year’s Chapter Leader Meeting featured a mindfulness session, sponsored by Business Events Australia, that helped everyone in the room center their energy and prepare for another busy day on the show floor. Chapter leaders also closed out the meeting with roundtable discussions where everyone was encouraged to share best practices, strategies, and advice on a variety of topics.

Even as the close of this year’s IMEX show neared, Meet in Ireland reminded us there’s plenty more to celebrate in the year ahead. Dozens gathered Wednesday night in Mandalay Bay’s version of a traditional Irish pub to set the stage for the �鶹��ý 2022 Global Conference in Dublin. It was an evening with plenty of music, dancing, and a pint or two of “the Black Stuff” to go around, too!
